What is the Art Market?
The EE Art Market is my attempt to find and categorize some of the more prominent art websites on the internet that sell artwork (original or reproductions) for contemporary artists.
If you've been considering different art websites to sell your paintings, drawings, photography, sculpture, etc. . . look no further. The EE Art Market makes it easy to compare and contrast what each art website offers you, in features, pricing, traffic stats and more.
I created the EE Art Market because all too often artists get ripped off by websites that promise a lot but never deliver. I believe that with more information artists will be able to avoid those situations and find the best solution for selling their own artwork online.

The Comparison Chart
I've put together a detailed online art gallery comparison chart to compare and contrast each of the ten websites' features, pricing, and more.
For example, if you want to sell prints of your artwork, there are currently three companies listed in the Art Market comparison chart that will print reproductions of your artwork, list your art prints online, hopefully sell your prints, and then mail them to the art buyer.
On the other hand, if you'd rather sell original paintings online, there are even more options—eight, to be exact. You'll also find that only six of the art websites will sell your handmade jewelry. . .and one doesn't let you sell your artwork on any other art website at the same time.

The Monthly Traffic Graph
Traffic is very important for any website selling a product. In general, the more visitors a website gets each month, the more sales it will make.
With the Art Market monthly traffic graph artists now have a way to see just how well each of the ten art websites are doing, in terms of traffic.
I'll be updating traffic information around the 15th of each month, as new results are made available by my source, Compete.com.
